Bloom Chemistry
[1] Genera - plural of genus, a category of classification in biology that ranks between the family level and the species level. Because there are many different species of bacteria that are difficult to distinguish, it is more useful to classify bacteria by genus rather than species.

Bloom Description
Volunteer reported: No wind, temperature 50 degrees, partly cloudy. This HAB was all along the shore for more than a mile. The HAB stayed until at least 4pm (i had to leave then and could no longer monitor). The HAB also stayed along the shore even when the winds picked up to about 8mph later in the day.
