Bloom Description

2025 PRIORITY SITE, Zone #3419: Salt Point Natural Area- identified by Tompkins County Whole Health as a sample-collection site. Volunteer reported: open water HAB extending 1 mile north about 100 ft. off shore, streaking calm and clear, 50 degrees. There were more HABs along Myers Park, Salt Point and open water north of the point at 1:30pm but by 5:30 pm only specks in the open water and one concentrated area in the Salt Point cove were evident.
