Bloom Chemistry
[1] Genera - plural of genus, a category of classification in biology that ranks between the family level and the species level. Because there are many different species of bacteria that are difficult to distinguish, it is more useful to classify bacteria by genus rather than species.

Bloom Description
Volunteer reports: Bright sunshine, calm water but slight N breeze developing, air temperature in low 70s F and rising. I repeat that this Bloom is slight but evident on 3 of the 5 properties in zone 3430. Overall, lake surface is green throughout the zone and beyond with cyanobacteria evident while only poorly defined streaks at several places.
