Bloom Chemistry
[1] Genera - plural of genus, a category of classification in biology that ranks between the family level and the species level. Because there are many different species of bacteria that are difficult to distinguish, it is more useful to classify bacteria by genus rather than species.

Bloom Description
Volunteer reported: HAB found in mid lake waters, west and south of Farley's Point, viewed by boat cool but sunny, very cool nights. Light wind from SW. Other note: we received an email about a HAB in Carr's Cove from a community member. They have not filled out a report yet, so it will not be documented on its own. However likely related to this bloom.
