Bloom Description
Volunteer Reports: Filamentous green algae on surface plus blue green algae colonies below water surface observed in 4-8 feet of water from boat. Went ashore and water quality was significantly better in 0-2 ft of water. Some clumps of brown floating masses of algae stirred up from bottom sediments while wading in deeper water. Area used for unregulated swimming. Open water HAB
